Shadow assignment and Traverse City

hands + typewriter
I crossed the ice Thursday to meet Lisa and Ashley.  We drove to Traverse City to see a concert and stay the night.  It was amazing to get away.  The roads were sort of scary because of a snow storm, but we made it safely.  The concert wasn't my favorite, but it was good.  I find myself hating crowds more and more as I get older.. ugh.  I hate sitting in a crowd of people.  There was a couple in front of us who kept kissing each other.  They smacked their lips together really loudly.  It was disgusting.  I hate PDAs.  The group sitting behind us talked the WHOLE time.  Okay yes it was a rock concert and everyone was loud... but we were sitting in the balcony.  It was much quieter and calmer there.  If they wanted to talk and have a family reunion, they should have gone down to the floor.  Or just left the concert all together.  They weren't actually paying attention at all.  Actually, come to think of it, I don't think this is new for me.  I've always had crowd rage at concerts.

Whatever.  It was nice to see Lisa and Ashley and get off the island.  Traverse City is a really nice town.  We would have wandered downtown more if we weren't in the middle of a blizzard.

I was finally able to get out and take more pictures today for class.  It's either been too cloudy or I've been feeling sick.   I felt so yucky Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.  I think I was fighting something off.  Headache, sore throat, achey muscles.  I slept and slept and still felt tired.  I'm better today though, and it was sunny out!

So yeah.  Here's all the pictures I've taken for the week.  Despite the pile of dog shit and the blurry junk, I think I've got five to turn in.

I like trees, can you tell?  Trees and fences.
